1. Bulgarian Gangster - exactly as in pic - fat, hairy chest, huge jewellery, moustache - must look Balkan/East European - dark hair/skin
2. Mumbai Crime Lord - . see pic for look. We like the coiffed hair, shiny, rather naff suit, and definitely the arrogant sneer - again a neat moustache is needed.
3. Yakuza boss - old, greying, fatherly, but dead-eyed. Would be wearing robes. Must have neat, conservative hair (No Mr Miyage's). Should appear all-powerful and sage-like.
4. Nigerian Crime Lord - Think Idi Amin - Probably a huge, larger than life character - a thick-set, arrogant, powerful figure...
5. East-European prostitute - the most difficult as we don't have a definitive character to go by, yet will probably be the most prominent on the cover... We reckon young, but well-worn, blonde but with a crap tan, and maybe a few roots showing. Must look Eastern European.
We will be shooting all in one day, so every model won’t be needed for more than two hours. As it is an editorial job, the budget is tiny: £200 + agency fee each for two hours.

Letter from a Soldier
University of Hertfordshire are casting for their production "A Letter from a Soldier", which is a psychological drama. We aim for this to be 5-10 minutes and the target audience is 18-35 year olds. The production is based on a poem by Robert Kerry Gardiner. It is set in modern day England where a husband is separated from his wife whilst fighting in Iraq. The wife, Jenny, opens the door one morning to find a letter on the doorstep from her husband. Opening the letter she starts to read and reminisces about her husband.
The poem describes the inner thoughts of the soldier who feels vulnerable due to the intensity of battle. He is concerned that he may be killed in action, and unable to return home to his beloved family.
Scenarios will be shown with the wife's thoughts. Some of these thoughts include; their daughters wedding day, their two sons growing up, she also gets images in her mind of her husband on the battlefield.
We are looking for one British male to play the soldier, aged 30-40, tall and muscular with dark hair. His wife will be played by a British woman aged 30-40, short.

Actress needed mid 20s
Written by Mehul Desai this is a short based on the evolving of technology within the futuristic society. This horror film shows a possessed phone coming to life and spreading vicious roomers via video chat.
This film was taken on a project by Widei Films www.widei-films.com as it was seen as a very special script that just had to be made! We believe this film will look visually stunning.
The role which needs filling is a young pretty nurse (*20's) She is the girlfriend of the main protagonist. There is a small sex scene within the film and so partial nudity id required.
Exact shoot date to be confirmed.
Expenses, food and a copy of the DVD only but you will be working with an established producer/director/editor who are all very excited about the film.
The film will be distributed around festivals and gain maximum exposure.

short film to be shot in Estonia
London Film School graduation film is seeking main male character for a short film to be shot in Estonia in February 2008. The role requires the actor to be spanish speaking, preferably Latin American. The actng range should be 30-45 years old.
A brief description of the character is:
NAME: CARLOS ARMANDO PORRAS
A Colombian university teacher. He goes to Estonia to visit Sonia who has convinced him to bring some cocaine for her to sell there. Carlos is reckless, a bit irresponsible and he gives easily into impulses. That's how he ends up stranded in the Estonian winter during his christmas holidays.
The poor bastard. It's hard not to feel bad for him because he's so charming and funny. But he's a crude son of a bitch just the same. He thinks it's sort of funny to go to a recently liberated country. And he jokes about it to the point of insult. He sometimes calls Sonia's Estonian friends "Russians" just for the fuck of it. Carlos carries an english-estonian dictionary with him and he makes up really stupid sentences.

Actress required for Music video
We are shooting a music video on MiniDV for our track "Dard Rukta Nahin" and we require an actress as a matter of urgency.
The translation of the title is "The Punishment of Pain" and the video will reflect this theme, being an extended dream sequence shot in an Expressionistic style. The hero is trying to reach the female character but is beset on all sides. She is angelic, whilst also capable of seduction. We are looking for a Manchester-based woman between the ages of 18 and 28 who is beautiful, blonde, sassy and at least 5'6" tall. We are hoping to shoot week commencing 1st October, for a 1-2 day midweek period, so time is of the essence.

2 male actors needed
2 Male actors, 18 – 23, required for low budget funded short.
Role 1 Billy – Thugish. He has a threatening confrontation with the main character. Appears in one scene and has 4 lines of dialogue.
Role 2 Dave – Boyfriend of Amy. Appears in one scene with main character and supporting character. No dialogue, but must be willing to kiss female character.
The film is being funded by Digital City in Teesside through one of their fellowship schemes. It will be shot entirely in Sunderland on Saturday 6th October with a small experienced crew and cast with tv exposure. The completed film will initially be showcased through Digital City before being entered into festivals. A copy of the film on dvd will be given to all.
Because this is a low budget film there will be only a small fee and therefore I require ONLY actors local to the northeast as I can't pay for travel expenses for actors further afield. You also need to be local to attend rehearsals.

It's about drug addict who is struggling in life and one day she has a dream that changes her outlook in her life and tries to make it better however she has go through obstacles like her friends and destructive habits that she has created from her past.

Artists wanted for series pilot
We have been asked by a Production Company to find artists for a series pilot filming in Southampton October 13th & 14th.
Pilot (5 mins) for 6x30+ series.
We are looking for the following artists:
J.J. – white but a wannabe, he's the greatest (c)rapper.
White male playing age 18-21 (lower age preferred). - 2 days shooting
Could have dreadlocks, this guy thinks he's a great rapper set for stardom..innit! All this from a middle-class public school boy.
He's got the bling but can he sing???
Leroy – 20s, black, street cool.. J.J.'s nemesis. J.J. has latched on to him… well the kid is loaded so Leroy's not going to pass up the wonga! – 1 day shooting.
These roles are paid at well beyond Equity minimum.
The shoot will also require a small number of background/support artists so if you are available in and around Southampton during the shoot days please let us know.
Auditions will be held in London and Southampton during late September.
This project is designed to be the springboard to launch a full 6x30+mseries. Funding is in place for the initial pilot.
